THE FUTURE OF FARMING AT BOSCHENDAL
But it has not always been this way. Boschendal was
once in a state of ruin and disrepair, employing
fewer than 50 people. Thanks to committed
investment and dedication, Boschendal has been
revitalised and now proudly employs 550 people.
We planted 600 000 new fruit trees and
commenced an ambitious regenerative
agriculture project to restore our soil ecology.
In addition, Boschendal is certified as one of
only 38 WWF Conservation Champions with
a large percentage of the land having been
set aside for the preservation and regeneration
of natural flora and fauna.
